Healthy Choices Abstinence Education
The problem is that there are many programs that are marketing themselves as abstinence-based or Abstinence-Plus to either get funding or to gain access into schools that are hesitant to bring in condom education. In these programs, if true abstinence is mentioned at all it is presented as an unachievable and unnecessary lifestyle. The majority of their presentations are centered around contraception and exploring creative ways to make pre-marital sexual activity fun and safe for kids.
